I have worked for over 30 years in the NHS as an Occupational Therapist, registered with the HCPC ( Health & Care Professional Council) specialising in mental health. I am very aware of the vast emotional difficulties people can encounter and the importance that listening has helped to enable heal the mind.
As a Clinical Hypnotherapist, I believe that listening to the conscious and unconscious mind opens doors to self-healing and facilitates positive changes for the future. I am passionate about the positive effects of hypnotherapy. I have seen clients overcome their difficulties through the safety and compassion of hypnotherapy.
I trained with the London College of Clinical Hypnosis and I am registered with the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis working within their clinical code of conduct. I have additional training as a Hypnobirther having completed the Katherine Graves Hypnobirthing Association course which is recognised by the Royal College of Midwives. I recognise the importance of continuing my professional development as a Clinical Hypnotherapist, attending yearly additional training, supervision and complementary reading.
I have enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance to work with adults and children, and have professional indemnity insurance with Holistic Insurance Services.
